Sponsorship Opportunities Remain5/7/2012 There are multiple options left to sponsor in Gateway, Kidsway, and Overman Entertainment areas for the Sturgis Falls Celebration, June 20-24, 2012.
At Gateway Park there are opportunities to sponsorn local and national bands with prices ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. The available bands are: The Mittens, Lick It Ticket, Cornmeal, Checker & the Bluetones, Vic Ferrari, Oh So Good, Wicked Andersons, and Snozzberries.
The Kidsway BigTop has multiple options as well. The performances and activities that remain available are: Dean Franzen, Grout Museum - Snakes Alive, Bubbles and Coasters & Cars, Clowns - Ditzy & Dizzy, Waterloo Center for the Arts, Kiracatures, Hearst Center for the Arts, and Clean Hands. Those prices range from $100 to $1000.
Overman Park Band Shell performances without sponsors are: Leigh Bailey & Mick Staebell - Dueling Pianos, Milk and Honey, Bethelhem Lutheran Church Worship Band, The Ramblers, Waterloo Community Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theatre, and the Cedar Falls Municipal Band.
Skybox rental now available.4/27/2012 The Skybox Suite made a successful debut during the 2011 Sturgis Falls Celebration and will be offered for rent in Gateway Park for 2012. This exclusive area provides a great view of the Gateway Stage and the Jumbotron screen, plus nearby parking.
Perfect for Class Reunions, Organizations, Family Reunions, and Company Parties; it offers space for 150+ people, has a TV, seating, and a private porto-potty.

2012 Gateway Entertainment4/12/2012 Start off the 2012 Sturgis Falls Celebration on Thursday, June 21 in Gateway Park listening to The Mittens at 5:00 p.m., stay to hear Lick It Ticket at 6:30 p.m. and top off the evening with Cornmeal at 8:00 p.m..
On Friday, June 22, Checker and the Bluetones kicks off the fun at 5:00 p.m. then at 9:00, enjoy Vic Ferrari.
Saturday, June 23 promises to be great, starting with a local band OSG (Oh So Good) at 12:00 p.m. The Wicked Andersons will play at 2:00 p.m. The Salsa Band follows at 4:00 p.m. for great mid-day entertainment. At 6:15 p.m. another Cedar Valley favorite, the Snozzberries will perform. Arch Allies will close out the day, starting at 9:00 p.m.
Sunday's line-up starts at 1:00 p.m. with Something New, then Daphne Willis (full band) follows at 3:30 p.m. Bob Dorr and the Blue Band are a Sturgis Falls staple you won't want to miss at 5:45 p.m. The final performer on the Gateway Stage, Bernard Allison starts at 8:00 p.m.
2012 Scholarship Recipients announced4/6/2012 Congratulations to Ben Challgren and Rhydian Talbot from Cedar Falls High School!
They will each be awarded $1500.00 scholarships at the Opening Ceremony for Sturgis Falls Celebration on Friday, June 22. On Saturday, June 23 they will ride in the dignitary procession, preceding the Annual Sturgis Falls Parade.
Color Me Sturgis4/1/2012 The Sturgis Falls Celebration is proud to announce the kick off for the 2012 Coloring Contest: "Color Me Sturgis!", as part of the 37th Anniversary Celebration this summer. We are looking for young artists to crown as the "King" and "Queen" of Mardi Gras at the Falls!
The contest will start April 1 and run through June 1. Coloring pages can be found online at www.sturgisfalls.org/ColorMeSturgisColoringContest or at either of our sponsors:

Grand Prize Winners will each recieve a $50 Savings Bond from MidWestOne Bank, be the Grand Marshals in the Children's Parade on Friday, June 22, and ride in the SFC Parade on Sat. June 23 with Willie S. Wonderful, as the Official Kidsway Dignitaries. Additonal local sponsors are 4 Queens, Pursuing Picasso, The Falls Aquatic Center, Hearst Center for the Arts, Phelps Youth Pavillion, and the Grout Museum District. Prizes will be awarded on Sat.  | Gateway Park Entertainment formerly located in Tourist Park will move to Gateway Park in 2012. This will provide abundant parking, more food vendors, a larger area to enjoy the bands, and the new 40' JUMBOTRON for better viewing of the stage. Gateway Park is located on Lincoln Street, 1 block northeast of 1st and Main Streets.
Also, new to Gateway Park will be "The Gateway Market" for commercial vendors and "Carving at the Falls" featuring chainsaw carving demonstrations. Items created during SFC weekend will be auctioned on Sunday, June 24.
