The Sturgis Falls Celebration Children's Choir is an annual tradition in the entertainment line-up for the Overman Park Band Shell Stage. This special choir features the voices of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, representing Cedar Falls, Price Laboratory, Saint Patrick and home-schooled students.
With the support of the Sturgis Falls Celebration Board of Directors, the Children's Choir performed for the first time in 1994. More than 1,000 children have shared their enthusiasm, energy, and love for music with the audiences in Overman Park during the Celebration.
Over the years the Sturgis Falls Children's Children's Choir has enjoyed support from the entire community in a variety of ways, such as, rehearsal locations, piano accompaniment, treats, chaperones, and, of course, the awesome audiences in Overman Park.
The Children's Choir is directed by the Cedar Falls Community School Vocal Music Teachers.
Rehearsals will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School on:
